😄 Hello guys,
This was a busy summer, a little slower on the build than I would have liked but we did make some progress.
Nice day to be building, we completed the soffit and began making some doors, and framing the window openings.
The window and door frames you see here is not permanent but more of a mock set up to see how things look.
My first go at making doors
Initially we were going to do the windows before the floor,
but switched as apparently windows are on sale during the winter. So vapor barrier and foam insulation were put in, then wire mesh to secure the pex tubing.
The open area without tubing is where the pantry will be, we'd like it be cooler then the rest of the kitchen.
Ended up with 9 x 300ft circuits and 2 x 500ft, going to be nice and comfortable when it's inhospitably outside. ❄️♨️
The concrete floor, a big step for us.
The contractor arrived at 8:30 am and left at 9am the next day.
Richard and his crew @ RIC Concrete did a great job.
Wow! Just Wow!
Finally get to use the wheels on the scaffold, it's the little things 😉
